Nisha Ganatra's Late Night Hits Theaters Nationwide

Nisha Gantra's latest feature Late Night has officially landed. The film, written and produced by Mindy Kaling, follows Emma Thompson as an iconic late-night host who shakes up her program’s dynamic by hiring a lone female staff writer (Kaling) in an attempt to smooth over diversity concerns.

The film premiered to rave reviews at Sundance 2019 and was immeditaley acquired by Amazon for a record-breaking $13 Million. The film also stars Amy Ryan, Reid Scott, John Lithgow, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Ike Barinholtz.

In the world of episodic television, Nisha won a Golden Globe and received an Emmy nomination for her work on Amazon’s Transparent. She is in pre-production on an autobiographical series based on her life for NBC/UTV with Amy Poehler producing.  Nisha is the Co-EP and Director of You, Me, Her, as well as Co-EP and Director of the Pamela Adlon series Better Things. Nisha has also directed episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Girls, Red Oaks, Fresh Off the Boat, The Last Man on Earth, Mr. Robot, The Mindy Project, Love, Future Man, Dear White People, Married and Shameless.
